'Van Oud-Kavelear'

In the past, local residents gathered around our house to go from here to the pilgrimage site Kavelear. It was a logical consequence to give our kennel the same name.

Our story

We have been breeding Smooth Fox Terriers since 1983. It started with a beautiful and very spirited female, named Conny van My Home is My Castle. With Conny's offspring we have built up a beautiful line, where character, health, appearance and the typical Fox Terrier exterior go hand in hand. Everything must be in good proportion.

Responsible breeding

We breed with responsible parent animals that pass on their strong characteristics well. This is done in accordance with the Association Breeding Regulations (VFR) of the Dutch Foxterrier Club and the Raad van Beheer, in which the preservation of the breeds health is key.

"We always advise puppy buyers to follow a good puppy course. The first year, education is very important."
